I just returned home from the doctors and I have some news to share. I'm 2 cm dilated. Going into my visit I was not expecting this. I'm excited that the process has started and I cannot wait for delivery. Dr Schiavi informed me to get my bags packed and be ready it could be any day or she could very well see me in her office next week for another visit. Everything is measuring perfect and she has no concerns if Baby Dan Michael decides to come now. This is so exciting, I'm not sure I will be able to sleep another night knowing that it could be here at any time.
Let me share this too...
My hubby comes to all the visits with me, he's a real trooper. I had to laugh today because when the doctor went to check me she told Dan to go stand by my head. Well, he decides to go on the other side of the curtain and hide. We laughed at him but he wouldn't come out. I'm not sure how he's going to handle the delivery but I sure hope he's not hiding out. I tried to talk to him on the ride home about being supportive during the delivery but he really seems a bit freaked out. This ought to be real interesting and I will keep you all posted.
Keep us in your prayers!

Waiting Game
I'm ready! Now we just wait for Baby Dan to decide to make his appearance. This is like torture to me. If you know me well, you know that I cannot wait for anything. I get super excited to the point of obsession. So having to wait and not having a clue of when I can hold the special package is just making me a bit crazy.
Are you feeling any contractions?
~ No, not that I know of.
Has he dropped?
~ No, not that I know of.
Are you feeling any pressure?
~Here and there I feel some pressure but it doesn't last long.
Do you feel anything different?
~A day or so ago I felt some lower back pain. One time is was a very sharp pain, but I haven't felt that again.
We head to see Dr Schiavi tomorrow and I cannot wait. This will be the first time that she checks me. We shall find out if we are making any progress at all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I have.

I'm too sexy!
Thank you for the "rocking boat"
Second Baby Shower
August 20th was my second baby shower and it was lovely. Thank you so much Aunt Linette, Cousin, Laurie, and whomever else helped put on such a nice shower. I received a ridiculous amount of gifts so Baby Dan should be set when he arrives. It was great to spend the afternoon with my loving family and my girlfriends, I'm so blessed.

4th Bi-weekly visit
This past Tuesday I had another visit with Doctor Schiavi and all is perfect. I had one complaint when I went in and that was indigestion. It was killing me. No matter what I ate, no matter what I didn't eat I would suffer. Tums worked for some time but then I couldn't bare eat another chalk bite. The doc told me to take Zantac or Pepcide before breakfast and one before dinner. WOW, I feel great. THANK YOU DOC! What a relief, I'm back to my happy self now!
The little man is doing awesome. His heart beat is where it should be and he's moving all about. I'm where I should be as far as weight and blood pressure etc. I think I've gained maybe 20 pounds. Dr. Schiavi informed me that next visit which is the 29th she will begin to check me. I'm a little nervous about that but I'm sure it will be fine. Time is flying bye, Dan Michael will be here soon. I can't wait!

MORE GOODIES
Baby Dan Michael is some lucky to have so many people treat him to such nice things. This past weekend we were surprised with two great gifts. One is the rocking chair and the second is a special chair for Dan Michael. Dan decided to check out the rocker by rocking our sweet baby dog. Thanks to Nannie for the rocker and thanks to Jay and Ashley Baggs for the PB chair, we love them both.
A visit from Nola
Nola Anne Andersen paid the Crowley's a visit this past week. She is way too cute and we enjoyed our time with her. Kellie put Dan to practice as you can see in the pictures. We also celebrated Nola's 1st birthday while she was down in New Orleans. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUTIE PIE!

NESTING
I believe that I'm officially in "nesting" mode. I woke up this morning at 7 and thought long and hard about going back to sleep and making it a late morning. Well, that's not what I decided. For some reason I found the idea of getting up and cleaning out both Dan and I's closet more appealing. What's up with that? After I completed that chore I headed to the kitchen to scrub the stove, then grabbed the dust rags to get moving on the rest of the house. I'm not sure what has come over me but usually Dan as to plead with me to get these things done.
I'm also very curious to find out when Dan's going to start nesting. Any idea? Not that he's not a great husband, and believe me he is, but I can't seem to get him to do the things that I want done. Oh he does plenty around the house, but he just chooses to avoid the things that I ask him to do. He's avoiding mopping for some unknown reason. He would rather go outside in the 100 degree weather and cut grass, I just don't get it.
Anyway, we head to the doctor this Tuesday. I will keep you all posted. I'm feeling good. You noticed that it wasn't my usual "great." I'm slowing down, and getting more tired. I'm also having a tough time with indigestion. But guess what, I think ever bit of this is worth the prize at the end!

34 Weeks
Heehee, here it is...here's the big belly you all have been waiting for. Went to see Dr Schiavi for the 3rd biweekly visit and she's very happy with how things are progressing. Going into this visit I thought for sure I had some serious weight gain but she informed that I dropped 3 pounds. I think its due to the fact that the last time I saw here it was after lunch and this time was early morning. That puts me at a gain of 17 pounds, which I'm pleased with. Everything is going great! Baby Dan Michael is moving around and giving me signs he's a strong boy. I'm getting really anxious to meet out little man and cannot believe that it will be in about 5-6 weeks.
