Puppy Love

Dan Michael and Mollie are two peas in a pod. When Mollie goes to lick Dan Michael in the face, he sticks his tongue out to lick Mollie back. I know its gross, but its also very funny.

My 1st Mardi Gras

We had a great Mardi Gras. Dan Michael loved it as much as I do. He seems to really enjoy the bands and the dancing girls more then the floats. I look forward to next year when he really knows what's going on.

6 Months, can you believe it?

Our little man made six months on 2/8/09. Oh gosh, here I go. He's the most amazing little guy. We both love him more then words could ever explain. Dan Michael has been the baby I have always dreamed of. He's a happy boy, that shares his smiles with strangers and loved ones. He's more then handsome to me, but I'm bias. I can't hardly stop all the bragging!

Dan Michael has two teeth at the bottom. I believe he is currently working on another one b/c he's had some fever and has been a wee bit fussy. He is now talking up a storm. When he wakes up in the morning he has lots to say. I'm not sure where he gets that from. ;) Believe it or not the other morning he said momma twice. I swear, Dan is my witness. My eyes got really big and I looked at Dan before I got excited and Dan said, yes he just said momma. I know, I know .. he has no clue that I'm his momma but it was still very exciting. He is not yet crawling but is making progress. He gets on his knees and rocks back and forth. I feel like he just can't figure out just what to do next. I'll keep you all posted on that. He's eats all the level 2 baby foods, doesn't turn anything away. I tried to give him the Gerber Puffs but he is not quite ready for that. He gags on them and spits them out. I will keep trying, haha.

He's right where he should be, very average!

Tooth NUMBER 2

Yay! Dan Michael has gotten his second tooth. It is the bottom front tooth, right next to his first tooth. I knew it was on the way b/c last Friday we had a rough day. Some enough it will be steak dinners for a out little man.

We had a great time at Gray's b-day bash. Dan Michael enjoyed his first go at ICE CREAM. He loved it.

Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was very special for me. I got to spend it with my two most favorite men, Dan and Dan Michael. We started the morning by going to Babies R Us to scoop up a special present for Dan Michael. We bought him a walker, its a little red car. Then we went as a family to have lunch at the newly reopened sushi restaurant Wasabi. There Dan Michael hit another mile stone that I really wouldn't have thought he was ready for but tried it out anyway. He sat in the big boy high chair at the restaurant. I know, he uses the one at home but this one had a lot less support. He's getting so big. We ended our day with a special dinner with Uncle Paul, Aunt Ann, Paulie, Lizzy and Amy. What a special day.

1 st visit to the zoo

Yesterday was our first visit to the Zoo and we had a great time. Dan Michael and all the children were all very well behaved. The weather was gorgeous so all the animals were out and about.

Shower for Chassidy

This past weekend we hosted a baby shower for Chassiday. Chassidy is due March 16th with her first baby. She and Brandon are expecting a baby girl, Bryleigh Rose Fourmaux. Chassidy received plenty of great gifts. Group Shot

First Tooth

YAY for Dan Michael, tonight we found his first tooth. I told Dan about a week ago that I thought he would have one in the next two weeks. Well Mommy knows best, because he finally cut it. He has been drooling like crazy, everything he touches is saturated with saliva. Today when I picked him up from Aunt Ann's house she told how he seemed to really want his bottle but couldn't take it due to some unknown reason. We weren't sure if it was due to a little cold he has or if it could be a tooth. IT WAS A TOOTH. I think its his bottom front left tooth. He will not under any circumstances let you look at it, but you can sure feel it. I gave him some Tylenol before I found the tooth and I'm glad I did, because he was in great mood tonight. I hope he doesn't have to suffer too much through this process.
Wow, I'm so excited for him. I'm also sadden that he is growing up so fast.

We will keep you posted. Dan Michael heads to the doctor next week for his 6 month check up. That right, 6 months!
