1st day at Cub Corner
Today, December 1st was our sweet angels first day of Cub Corner. Dan and I both experienced some anxiety leading up to this day. I guess we didn't know what to expect and we are saddened by how fast he's growing up. Really to no surprise he handled it like a champ. He was ready to head out the door with his lunch bag and to get to class to meet his new friends and teachers. When we arrived he paid us no attention. Immediately he joined the other children and began to play. As we left the building I broke down in tears. I think I knew I was going to miss his company and I knew I was going to have a hard time not knowing what he is up to every minute of the day. I cannot wait to scoop him back up at 3:00 to see how he made out. I will be sure to keep you all posted!
Halloween 2009
It may be December 1st but we have Halloween pictures to share. Let me again apologize to all of our followers for being such a slacker. Aunt Charlene, I hope you enjoy!
We had a great Halloween. Dan Michael enjoyed his first Boo at the Zoo. It was a great party that I think will now be yearly tradition. While there Dan Michael visited his first haunted house, trick or treated and listed to music. Next year he will be able to enjoy the space walks and all the fun games.
Halloween night Dan Michael and I went Maw-maw's house to trick or treat with his cousins. It was a long day so he didn't last long but he still had a great time with the other kids!

1st Haircut = DISASTER
Dan Michael's first haircut was not what is was cracked up to be. We looked forward to great pictures and taking home some precious curls. We got neither. He was terrified of the whole experience. He screamed and cried like never before. Dan had him in a bear hug while held his head straight so the barber (Francis) could give him a trim. It ended up not being a trim b/c Francis had no choice but to just cut when he had an opportunity. Dan Michael is going to soon turn into cousin It because we may never ever take him for another hair cut.
